Kim and Kanye Cover ‘Harper’s Bazaar’

Kimye is featured on September’s issue of Harper’s Bazaar and I. AM. IN. AWE!!! The cover is so beautiful and so Kim and Kanye’esque. I love how fun the interview was! It wasn’t the typical “What do you like about Kim?” “Kim, how to take the perfect selfie?” type questions. They were different, funny, and so entertaining to read! They have to collaborate and do more interviews together. Just reading how they finish each other’s sentences and have the same thoughts and ideas is so cool!

How cute do they look here!? They don’t look like Kim and Kanye. They look like North and Saint’s parents. Such a gorgeous couple!

gallery-1469481072-2016-06-hb27367-logo11Here are some of my favorite quotes:

“Favorite Taylor Swift song?”

KW: For me? I don’t have one.

KKW: I was such a fan of hers.

“(to Kanye) How much do you love sleep?”

KKW: He can fall asleep anywhere.

KW: I can sleep. I love sleep; it’s my favorite.

KKW: He took me to a fashion meeting in Paris once. I’d never met these people; I was so nervous. It was the beginning of our relationship, and I didn’t know anyone in fashion. And he passed out at the table. I’m like, “I’m so sorry, we’re jet-lagged.” You don’t know the number of times I’ve had to say that. I always flat-out lie that he’s jet-lagged, even if we’ve been home for months. [Laughs.] Me? I’m up at like 6 a.m. With my trainer, running up the hill you drove up to get here.

“You’re saying you’ve got the power of the idea?”

KW: What designer on the planet can sell, consistently, 40,000 shoes. In two minutes?

KKW: One minute.

How would you like to be remembered?”

KKW: I’d like to be remembered as someone who was smart in business, works hard, and can be sexy and a mom. A powerful but still sexy, nonconforming woman. And I would hope that Kanye would be remembered for being smart and sticking to what he believes.

KW: Determined. I would say my determination is way higher than my smartness.

WOLVES x BALMAIN

Just a few days ago, Kanye released his music video/ fashion ad/ everything and more for his hit song “Wolves”. The video was directed by the legendary Steven Klein and featured my baby KKW, Vic Mensa, Sia, Olivier Rousteing, Joan Smalls, Kylie Jenner, Jourdan Dunn, Cindy Crawford, plus more!

Wolves is just that song that makes you squint your eyes really tight and nod really hard! Just the baseline with the woo, ohhh, ohhh in the background really makes you feel like you’re in a scene from Twilight or something.

I really, really, REALLY loved how the black and white effect made the crystals from Kim’s gown and Ye’s jacket look. The whole video just looked icy and raw. Even though it was black and white, it still looked full of light and color.

“The Life of Pablo” is available to purchase or stream on Apple Music, iTunes, and Tidal.

PS: I saw some people asking were asking why Kim and Kanye were crying. It’s because they thought about how they saved the world by ending Taylor Swift.

“Let go of the old Michael Kors to make room for the new Birkin.”

I never check or read my Instagram DMs, until I randomly got in my feelings one day and thought, “Myleeza what if your future husband is just waiting for you in your Instagram DMs?” Well, unfortunately I didn’t find my future husband, but I did see a message from a concerned mother that really touched my heart and inspired me to create this section.

IMG_9131 2IMG_9132

First things first, when I initially entered college, PR was not my major. I was majoring in Chemistry/Pre-Pharmacy to become a pharmacist solely because my mom, my teachers, family members, and everyone else wanted me to become a pharmacist. Why? I have no idea, but being young, vulnerable, and low-key dumb, I went on and did it just because they wanted me to. Instead of going for my dreams and living my life, I decided to live their’s. This is a mistake that most high school seniors and college freshmen make. (If you’re a senior or college freshmen, don’t fall for the trap. STAY AWAY FROM THEY.)

Here are 5 key tips to help PR students and recent PR grads who are looking for advice, motivation, and encouragement.

  1. Don’t major in PR if you don’t plan on working hard. *Church organs began to play in the back* Wellllll let me say that one more time. DO NOT major in PR if you don’t plan on working hard. It’s just not for lazy people. I can be lazy af myself, but I have a wonderful and annoying group of people around me who constantly get on my ass when my laziness starts to take away from my productivity.
  2. My next tip is once again, STAY AWAY FROM THEY. There were soooo many people that doubted me when I changed my major from pharmacy to PR. Even my mom doubted me. Everyone would say “You’re too smart for that major.” or “What job are you going to get with that?” and the oh so popular “That’s not even a real major.” Now I laugh because those same people tell me “Oh, Myleeza! I always believed in you! I’m so proud.” I just hit them with that North West mug like “yeah okay fam” You have to always surround yourself with positivity and positive people that want you to be great and helps you believe in you!
  3. Get a mentor and ask for help. Like the Ying Yang Twins said, “Closed mouths don’t get fed, so I don’t mind asking for”…nvm. Let’s keep this PG. Anyway, definitely seek out a mentor. This field is not easy and is very competitive. At this job I just got, 130 people applied for the job and they only hired three people. I was one of the three. If someone is out there and they want to help you, accept the help and put your pride and “I know it all” mentality to the side. Kim was definitely my career mentor. Any questions I had, she always answered them. Try to find a life mentor, too. Someone that will help you grow not only as a professional, but as woman/man as well.
  4. As far as advice on finding a job, I mean this in the most humble way possible, but  it really wasn’t hard for me to find a job. God put this particular person in my life that has helped me and my resume tremendously. You may know her as Kim Kardashian or Kim Kardashian West, but I just know her as….Kim. I thank God for Kim every single night. She’s really my most unexpected blessing. Even though Kim has helped me, I still used some of Myleeza charm to get the position. Nothing is given. Make sure your resume is STACKED with everything from community service, to internships, special talents, literally anything that puts you above your competition. Like I said earlier, you can’t be lazy. Research internships, read articles about PR and interview techniques, build a connection with God, be patient, and remain patient. Your time is coming!
  5. Lastly, always remember you can’t have your cake and eat it too. What I mean by this is in order for you to get something new, you have to let go of something old. That bad habit that you have can very well be the thing that’s holding you back from the job and career of your dreams. Whether that bad habit is smoking, drinking, partying, a toxic relationship, negative people on your social media feeds, just LET. IT. GO. I let go of a lot and I mean A LOT of bad habits my last semester of college to make way for this new chapter of life that I was about to face. This goes back to finding a life mentor. I know I couldn’t have made the changes that I made without my friend Reotta constantly (and I do mean constantly) pointing out where I could better myself. Let go of the old Michael Kors to make room for the new Birkin. BLOOP.

I hope that this long ass novel I just wrote helped and inspired you in some way.

My Favorite Gifs/Memes

Hey ya’ll! (Ugh I’m so country.) I’ve been gone for a few days on my emotional rollercoaster, word to Vivian Green, but I’m back showing you guys some of my go to memes and gifs that I always use on Twitter. I have a album on my phone with almost 200 memes and gifs, but I’ll show my Top 5 favorite!

If you are clapbacking or telling a funny story, good memes and gifs make everything 10x funnier. While a good meme/gif can make an argument or good Twitter clapback funnier, a bad one will ruin it.

I see bad memes and gifs on my timeline ALL the time and they literally make me cringe and make me wanna whip up a bleach smoothie. I hate fuzzy gifs with bad quality, gifs that move way too fast, and gifs that are just….wack. I know my description of these are really subjective lol. Let me just show you some of my favorite gifs and memes.

  1. The wig snatcher: When you see me use this one, you know shit just got REAL. This is the definition of SNATCHED. S/o Sheryl Underwood for this gem. IMG_6013.GIF

2. New York from VH1: If you were old enough to watch VH1 during it’s reality TV golden years (2004-2008), you remember how much of an icon New York truly is. She was the most dramatic, yet funniest person on TV. Any gif or meme with New York in it is legendary.

3. My idol, Kris Jenner: Kris Jenner, Ms. Jenner if ya nasty, has the funniest memes. Ya’ll don’t understand how funny that “Y’all poor as FUCK” Snapchat meme is of her. Like I cry every single time I see it. It’s soooooooo funny! Any meme that has Kris Jenner’s face on it is instantly  hilarious.

IMG_7326 2IMG_7369 2IMG_8287 2

4. Of course, my girl Mrs. West: I used to find the Kim ugly crying memes not funny and insensitive until she started making money from using it on Kimoji/Kimoji Merch. But since it’s now making my girl millions, I love them! lol Kim’s expressions on Keeping Up are soooo funny! Thank you to whoever captures these just in time!IMG_6025IMG_6033IMG_6682IMG_86115. Other: I find random things and people funny. The things I find funny, other people don’t and the things they find funny, I find stupid af. These are just some of my other favorite memes and gifs.

I hope you guys use these on Twitter and it reminds you of me and my crazy tweets!

Ask Myleeza Pt. 3

I’m back again answering all of your questions. Once again, you can ask any question you want anonymously here.

1. Thoughts on Taylor swift?

Rest in peace.

2. I am currently running a fan page for the Kardashians (@KHLOEKARDASSHIAN) and I have really noticed I like doing the whole social media stuff. I have even thought of building a website with 24/7 updates of the girls. I love social media/ PR/ fashion.. What should I do? Can I combine all?

Ummm…I really don’t know. Follow your heart.

3. How did Kim notice you? Did she contact you or how did it go down? Do you have any tips on how to get noticed.

She first starting tweeting me on Twitter. I never was one of those fans that tweeted “OMG ILY SO MUCH. PLEASE FOLLOW ME! IT’LL MEAN SO MUCH! PLEASE NOTICE ME!!!!” That seems so unauthentic to me. I always treated Kim like a human and tweeted her regular stuff. It worked and she eventually followed me and we got really close over the years. We both contact each other, tbh. My tip is just to chill and remember celebs are humans just like we are. Learn how to set yourself apart. Always be you. Be patient.

4. When should we expect to see your interview with Kim on her app? ☺

Omg I forgot about the interview. I have no idea sadly 😦 Kim said that she emailed her team about the idea. I’ll have to remind her.

5. How does it feel that you literally met North and Saint before they were basically like born lol.

Woah, I never thought about it like that! Pretty cool once you put it like that!

6. If you wanted to work for Kim, why aren’t you?

It may seem that easy but it’s wayyyy more complicated and difficult than you think. It’s hard and confusing to explain, but that’s still my ultimate goal. I’m gaining experience right now. I mean I’m just 21, after all. Kim and I both know what’s up.

7. Do you get paid to make the memes?

Nah. I do it as a favor for Kim. I mean look how many favors she’s done for me…it’s only right I do this for her. Plus it takes me like 15 minutes to do them. It’s nothing and she’s always so thankful for the help.
8. After Kim, who is your next favourite Kardashian/Jenner?
Kristen Mary “Kris” Jenner
9. Thoughts on Kourtney and Scott? Do you think they will get back together??
I really don’t know. They’re doing pretty well co-parenting though.
10. Will you be seeing Kim again soon?
Hopefully! I miss her so much.

#FlashbackFriday: The First Time I Met Kim

So I always get tons of people asking me how did this whole thing with Kim and I start? Well Kim used to tweet me like all the time, but I never met her or saw her in person. I remember tweeting if I ever met her, I would stick her in my pocket and take her with me! lol FullSizeRender 25

I was 19 years old and was attending college in New Orleans when I saw Kim posted on her then CelebBuzz blog that she would be making an appearance in Jackson, MS for her fragrance, True Reflection, back in 2013. I was amazed and excited because Kim hardly ever came to the south to promote her products!

It was SO much going on in New Orleans that weekend. Lil Wayne was making an appearance at the mall and at that time I was madly in love with Wayne. Most importantly, it was Super Bowl Weekend and the big game was in New Orleans. This was the Super Bowl where Beyonce was performing at halftime, so the city was packed and buzzing. With all of this excitement going on, I STILL wanted to go see Kim. I just had to see her face to face!

The day of the appearance finally came and I skipped all of my classes and exams JUST so I can see my fave in person for the first time. New Orleans is only 3 hours away from Jackson, but it took me around 5 hours to get there because of the crazy Super Bowl traffic, but I didn’t give a damn! I was finally seeing Kim and that’s all that mattered. My friend Joiya even convinced me to get a shirt made with my Twitter name on it few days before so Kim could recognize me! So I had my shirt, a tank full of gas, and my mom’s credit card (shhh!) and I hit the road.

I got there super early. Seems like around 12:00 pm and the appearance started at 6:00 pm, but she didn’t come out until 6:30’ish. Good news is that I was 5th in line. Bad news was that if I got out of line, I lost my spot, so I had to wait 6 hours in line. I was hungry af and had to pee, but like I said I didn’t give a damn. I was about to meet KIM.

Time slowly passed and it was time for Kim to come out. Everyone stood up. The DJ was blaring some Nicki Minaj song and there she was. Kim came walking down nah…floating down the walkway like an angel. My mouth hit the floor, my wig shifted, and my edges were NON EXISTENT. I couldn’t believe that she was real. Everyone started screaming! I remember holding out my Kardashian Konfidential book for her to sign. She wasn’t doing autographs yet, but she looked at me then look then looked at my shirt then quickly turned around to sign my book. I was like wait…I think she knows who I am!

Kim was pregnant with North at the time and security told us not to ask her for hugs or ask her to stand up. I wanted to slap him, but I stayed cool and said ok and rolled my eyes.

I was next to see Kim and I had butterflies. It just didn’t seem real! I walked up and saw Joyce and I think Carla. They both spoke and THERE SHE WAS. THE BADDEST BITCH. KIM KARDASHIAN IN FULL BALMAIN.

She looked at me and immediately stood up. The whole crowd gasped. Security tried to stop her, but Kim gave them that “Boy if you don’t GTF” look. She walked to me and looked at her security and said “No, I have to hug her! I know her. I know her from Twitter.” My wig was gone. She was on a stage and I hugged her and put my head on her tiny baby bump.

She sat back down and asked how to pronounce my name and where I drove from. I told her I drove from New Orleans and of course she told me how much she loved beignets. lol She said I saw your shirt and I thought this had to be her! I told her I skipped all my classes for this and she said “Oh no.” and I’m like bitch OH YES.  I told her how much I loved her and that I had her back forever and she said thank you Myleeza. She signed my bottle and I walked off on cloud 9.

I got in my car and looked at the bottle and the bottle said “I love you.” And that is the story of how I first met my girl KKW.

“This Morning with Phil and Holly”

Last week I was interviewed by Phil and Holly on the UK morning show “This Morning”! I had no idea how huge the show was until some of my followers on Twitter told me that it’s like America’s “Good Morning America” or “Kelly and *insert whoever the new host is here*” After they told me this, instead of getting nervous, I got really excited! To me the bigger the platform the better. I literally never get nervous for interviews. I love speaking publicly; especially when it’s about Kim!

I know some of you are like HOW did you land a live interview on the UK’s biggest morning show? Well, let me explain. Gather around for story time kids.

I did an interview with Buzzfeed, which you can read here. Anyway, the interview was pretty interesting to read, I must say. It went viral and a magazine in the UK, Heat, picked it up and published it in their magazine.IMG_9137

This later caught the attention of producers at “This Morning” and they contacted Katie, the lady who interviewed me for Buzzfeed, asking for my contact information to get me on the show!

As always, I asked Kim first and as always she responded “Of course”. So, I contacted the producers of “This Morning” and told them I would love to do the interview! I had to wake up at 2:00 am, my driver picked me up at 3:15 am, and I shot the show at 4:30 am!

This was my first time doing a live interview so I was kind of shaky at first. It was weird having people talk in your ear and you had to talk back to a camera and on top of that I wasn’t even able to see them. It was a definitely a great learning experience, but I had the BEST time. Shout out to every one in London Town and the UK.

I do these interviews so I can show the world how wonderful of a person Kim really is. I love her soooo much!

Loved these cute screenshots too!

How to Accept Being Told No

One of the hardest things for me to process is how to accept being told “No.” To me, being told no is basically someone telling you that you’re just not good enough, even after you’ve worked your ass off and dedicated so much time to something. I mean it sounds good when people tell you “Oh it’s okay. This is just opening up a door for something bigger”, but let’s just face reality; the shit really hurts and it hurts BAD.

I don’t mean to sound like Perfect Patty, but I have been lucky enough to not have been told no most of my life. People usually recognize that I put my effort, heart, and dedication into everything that I’m passionate about, so I’m usually told “Yes” or “Of course” or my favorite “Good job Myleeza!”

But (yes here comes the but), since I graduated college and entered the dreaded “real world”, I’ve already started to get some of my real firsts. And today, I got my first real life no by my first real life boss. *cue the horror music*

It wasn’t a no, per say, but it was more of a “You’re not good enough right now Myleeza.”, which is even worse. She didn’t say it like that, of course, but that’s just how I took it cause the girl is just not used to being told no (and because I’m hella dramatic). She covered it with some “Don’t talk it personal” sprinkles and some “You’re still learning” chocolate chips, but at the end of the day, it was still a no and it still hurt, ya know? After leaving the office, I couldn’t help but wonder *Carrie Bradshaw voice*, how do you deal with being told no?

Of course, being the young 21 year old that I am, I quickly walked out of the office after our morning meeting and sat in my truck for a good 5 minutes in dead silence. I said to myself, “Was I just told that I wasn’t good enough?” and myself said “Wait, I think so!” I had to ask myself this out loud so I can let it all sink in. I drove home in dead silence and stopped to get a donut. Donuts make everything better. It’s scientifically proven. Don’t debate me. While eating my donut, I thought of 3 helpful ways that we can accept being told “No”.

1. I know it’s hard to believe it right now, but guess what? Life will go on!  Shocker right? Life won’t stop because you didn’t make the team, didn’t get a job, or didn’t get accepted into your dream college. Life will go on and the world will continue to move. So do you wanna mope around and expect people to feel bad for you or are you going to wake up with that “You almost had me. You gotta be quicker than that!” mentality? I don’t know about y’all, but give me the “You gotta be quicker than that” mentality for $500 please Alex!maxresdefault

2.Think of all the times you were told yes, while other people were told no. Everyone can’t get a yes or a “You’re ready for the next step” every single time. If that was so, we would have like 200 kajillion American Idol winners. lol But seriously, think of the hurt they felt when they were told no and they watched you be told yes. Now, what makes you feel like you’re too good to feel that same hurt every once in a while? I just feel like the hurt of being told no builds character and work ethic. It gives you that mind set that makes you say I never wanna feel this feeling again.

3. BOSS TF UP. Let me say it a lil louder for the people in the back. BOSS TF UP. I hate to break the news to you, but no one is gonna be at your pitty party but you, my love. You gotta learn from the no’s and L’s. Right after I was told my first dreaded no, I went home and thought about everything I could fix about myself as a professional in my work place. For one, I always had a slight mug on my face because I just knew I would be working under Kim right now, not working for a marketing office. But hey…shit happens. You can’t always plan life. Secondly, I was lazy with no energy. Period. Lastly, I made too many excuses, my age being the main one. Ladies and gentlemen, age is not an excuse for you not to boss up. Can I get a witness? Take that no as a way to spark a fire to find your inner boss.

Hope this helped or inspired you in some way.

The Receipts.

And now the moment we have ALL been waiting, actual footage of THE CALL. After months of lies and speculation, Klapback Kimmie finally pulled the receipts and showed the world how much of a liar “America’s Sweetheart”, Taylor Swift, really is.

You can CLEARLY hear Taylor approving the line and plotting to tell everyone on the Grammy Red Carpet that she was in on the joke. Instead, she flipped the whole thing and acted as if she had no idea and was completely blindsided. But the video footage determined that THAT WAS A LIE *Maury voice*.

Kim picked the perfect day to end her and release the footage too. Right after Calvin exposed her, right after releasing the Savage Kimoji, and right after the episode of KUWTK came out about her GQ cover story. Just brilliant.

Then Taylor wrote this long ass sob story with sad violins playing in the background how she was mainly upset that Ye called her a “bitch” and that he said “I made her famous”, but in the video you can also CLEARLY hear her say that “Yeah, you totally made me more famous!” Lmaoooo she’s a walking contradiction at this point.

Also, WHENNNNNN is that Chloe girl going to every mind her damn business?! She always comments on the Kardashians and they clock her lil ass every single time. I would get tired of getting clap backed on. Everyone needs to stop babying her and using her age as an excuse to show her pitty. If you’re bold enough to mind grown folks business, then you gotta be bold enough to get clocked. Period.

Selena Go(home)ez, please STFU. Yes, there are more important things to talk about and Kim talks about them every single time. How about you sis? Where are your statements about police brutality, gun control, or Black Lives Matter?

Oh okay.

After everything went down, of course Twitter was on FIRE with some of the most hilarious tweets EVER. Here are some of my favorite tweets:
